TIG Welder

Bedford | Temp to Perm | £16.00 per hour | Monday - Friday, 7.00am - 4.00pm (12.00pm finish Friday)

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary TIG Welder to join a busy and well-established Production team based in Bedford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced welder to put their skills to good use in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the fabrication of high-quality drainage systems used across a variety of construction and industrial projects.

As a TIG Welder, you will play a key part in the production process, ensuring that all welding and fabrication tasks are carried out to a high standard of accuracy and finish.

The role involves:

  • Carrying out TIG welding and fabrication on a range of metal products.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to complete work precisely.
  • Maintaining excellent standards of quality to meet strict product specifications.
  • Working to health and safety guidelines at all times within a welding bay environment.
  • Operating welding machinery and fabrication tools in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Contributing to a supportive and productive team, while also being able to work independently.

Requirements:

  • Previous TIG welding and fabrication experience, preferably in the construction or drainage.
  • The ability to confidently read, understand, and work from technical drawings.
  • Strong practical skills with close attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach to maintaining quality standards.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing health and safety standards.
