Our client is the global leader in their sector! They are looking for an Electronics Test Engineer to join test engineering team.

Senior Electronics Test Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Developing and designing test systems
  • Diagnosing and analysing data for failed products
  • Supporting day to day production, troubleshooting issues with automated test systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve current test system
  • Analysis of test failures
  • Participating in longer term team projects
  • Setup and maintain electrical measurement systems
  • Design and construct test hardware
  • Modify/generate test code to control instrumentation and perform automated testing
  • Develop an understanding of the production test machinery
  • Update/produce technical documentation such as circuit diagrams, test procedures and operating instructions
  • Provide training and support to production operator

Senior Electronics Test Engineer Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience designing and developing test systems (Essential)
  • A keen interest in software programming, such as Labview, CVI, Python, VB (Desirable)
  • Experience using test instrumentation such as Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators and Digital Multimeters (Desirable)
  • Practical electronics and fault diagnosis skills (Desirable)
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively at all levels
  • Demonstrated organisational, planning and program skills with careful attention to detail
  • Have a strong technical bias, with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines
  • Proactive with a hands-on approach
  • A good level of competence with MS Office applications for documentation and presenting reports

Working Hours and Benefits:

  • Monday - Thursday: 08:00am - 16:30pm
  • Friday: 08:00am - 13:00pm
  • 25 days annual leave
