The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Fabrications Team Leader to manage daily production, lead a team of skilled fabricators and welders, and ensure efficiency, safety, and quality across the shop floor. This position is ideal for an experienced Welding Supervisor or Fabrication Foreman ready to take the next step.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of around 15 welders/fabricators

  • Manage workflow, labour allocation, and production targets

  • Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards

  • Interpret technical drawings and support weld quality coordination

  • Drive continuous improvement, LEAN, and 5S initiatives



Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven leadership experience in fabrication/welding

  • Strong MIG/TIG welding and technical drawing knowledge

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Commitment to safety and quality

Desirable:

  • Aerospace or Defence background

  • Experience with CNC laser cutting or press brakes

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and quality standards (EN 15085, ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
