Architect or Experienced Part III | Beeston, Nottingham (NG9 2BD)| Full Time (09:00–17:30, Monday to Friday) | £28,000–£32,000 per annum

Julian Owen Associates Ltd is a friendly, welcoming and inclusive RIBA Chartered practice based in Beeston, Nottingham. Due to an increasing workload, we are looking for an Architect or experienced Part III to join our talented team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work across a wide variety of projects and see them through all RIBA stages, from feasibility to completion.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Living in or around the Nottingham area
  • Relevant accredited architectural degrees
  • Minimum of 4 years’ full-time UK architectural experience
  • Direct experience working on UK planning and building regulations applications (minimum 4 years – essential)
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning and building regulations legislation
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage your own workload and projects
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external teams
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and own car
  • Applicants must currently be resident in the UK (overseas applicants will not be considered)

What will your role look like?

  • Delivering a range of architectural projects across multiple sectors
  • Working through all RIBA Work Stages, from feasibility to completion
  • Producing and coordinating technical drawings
  • Preparing drawings for planning, building control and tender submissions
  • Producing detailed technical specifications
  • Liaising directly with clients, consultants and contractors
  • Attending meetings and site visits as required
  • Supporting and collaborating with less experienced team members
  • Essential experience using AutoCAD LT and Revit
