Mellors Care are recruiting for a Deputy Manager to support a 40-bedded residential home in Beeston, Nottingham. This is a thriving service, providing dementia care,physical disability care and respite.
The home forms part of a larger group with over 35 homes in total, covering the UK. The service provides an excellent standard of care, with promoting diginity at the heart of everything they do. The home has also had significant recent investment and is modern, clean and exceptionally furnished. Service users are encouraged to participate in a busy schedule ofenriching activities and social events.
The role of Deputy Manager will report directly into the Registered Manager and will be responsible for maintaining excellent compliance standards, safe staffing levels and a person-centred approach to care. Duties will include:
- Managing the staff roster
- Recruitent and onboarding of new team members
- Completing supervisions and mentoring
- Care plan writing and monitoring
- Building relationships with service users and family members
- Ensuring CQC compliance at all times
The succesful candidate will have leadership experience within a care home setting or similair and have experience with care plan writing.
