Preschool Room Leader - Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Location: Beeston, Leeds | Private Day Nursery

We are currently seeking a Preschool Room Leader to take the reins of our clients thriving preschool room, leading both the children's learning and the team of dedicated practitioners. This is a full-time, permanent position with exciting opportunities for career progression and personal development.



About the Role

As our Preschool Room Leader, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading and inspiring a team of Early Years Practitioners in delivering outstanding care and education

  • Planning, implementing, and evaluating a rich, stimulating EYFS curriculum tailored to children's individual interests and developmental stages

  • Supporting the emotional well-being, safeguarding, and welfare of all children in your care

  • Working closely with parents and carers to build strong, positive relationships and maintain effective communication

  • Overseeing observations, assessments, and next steps to ensure each child achieves their full potential

  • Ensuring high standards of hygiene, health, and safety in the preschool environment

  • Acting as a role model, mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional development

What We're Looking For

  • A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years Childcare

  • Previous experience working in a preschool environment, ideally in a senior or leadership role

  • A deep understanding of the EYFS, child development, safeguarding, and inclusive practice

  • Passion, energy, and a genuine love for working with children

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team

  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
