Position: Commercial Vehicle Body Builder
Location: Sheffield
Pay: 13.50 upwards DOE
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (3:00 PM finish on Fridays)
Type: Temporary (potential perm after 12 weeks)
We are seeking to recruit a skilled Commercial Vehicle Body Builder to join or clients team. This role will be based on-site in Sheffield, with the opportunity for a permanent position after 12 weeks.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience with MIG welding, and proficiency in using all related welding equipment
A background in vehicle body building is essential
Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings
A UK Driver's License is required, and an HGV license is a bonus
Ability to work effectively as part of a team to meet deadlines and customer requirements
As a Commercial Vehicle Body Builder, you will:
Manufacture and assemble bespoke bodywork including tippers, plant vehicles
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to guide your work
Perform MIG welding and assemble vehicle body components
Utilise a variety of welding tools, hand tools, and power tools to complete tasks
Contribute to sub-assembly work, as well as refurbishments and new vehicle builds
