Job Title: Acoustic Consultant
Location: Belfast
Salary: 35,000 - 45,000 + Benefits
A leading acoustics and environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join their expanding team in Belfast. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a wide range of building and environmental acoustics projects across the UK and Ireland, working alongside a highly skilled and supportive team.
As an Acoustic Consultant, you'll work on projects spanning residential, commercial, education, infrastructure, and industrial sectors-delivering innovative, practical, and sustainable acoustic solutions from concept to completion.

Duties for the role of Acoustic Consultant include:
Delivering building acoustics design and environmental noise assessments
Carrying out noise and vibration monitoring, modelling, and analysis
Preparing detailed technical reports and acoustic assessments
Liaising with clients, planners, and design teams
Supporting business development and mentoring junior team members
Requirements:
Degree in Acoustics, Physics, or a related discipline
2-5 years' experience in building and/or environmental acoustics
Proficiency in relevant modelling software (e.g., SoundPLAN, CadnaA, INSUL, CATT, Odeon)
Strong understanding of UK acoustic standards and guidance (BS4142, BS8233, ProPG)
Excellent report writing, communication, and client-facing skills
IOA membership (MIOA or working towards preferred)
Full UK driving licence
