As Mobile Plant Engineer you will be expected to travel throughout both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland when required and be responsible for the provide service, maintenance, repair and inspection of on a variety of plant including load lifters, steps, cranes, winches, moving decks, tail lifts and shutters and On-Board Power Systems to their well-known and wide-ranging customer base.
You will be qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and have experience of working on the service, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment such as heavy vehicle plant, forklifts, agricultural machinery, road sweepers or similar a good understanding of hydraulics, mechanics and basic fault-finding on electrics.
Individuals with experience of 12v / 24v power systems, vehicle ancillary equipment such as On Board Power, power inverters, MEWPs and/or access platforms would be a distinct advantage, though not essential as a personal training plan will be created to upskill any shortfalls.
