Finance Manager – Belfast

Reed Accountancy is delighted to be partnered with a fantastic client in Belfast in the appointment of a Finance Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career and join a very successful and growing business.
In this position, the successful Finance Manager will report directly to the Financial Controller and provide professional and efficient financial support to the department and the wider organisation. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the preparation of Month-End Accounts and Group submissions within deadlines
- Completing control account reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of Forecasts, Budgets, and Statutory Accounts
- Handling VAT returns, including MTD submissions
- Managing supplier rebate calculations and reporting
- Overseeing the external audit process to ensure a successful audit
- Managing lease requirements and maintaining the Group lease management system
- Handling TSS declarations
- Supporting the management and development of junior finance team members
- Performing other duties as required by the Senior Management Team
What you need to succeed:
- Organized and proactive, with keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills, able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and use time effectively
- Enjoy problem-solving and seeing projects through to completion
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience in a Senior Finance role
- Strong understanding of accounting processes
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
