Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Assembling axles and transmissions.
- Working from standard work instructions to produce components.
- Performing routine functionality tests and analysing malfunctions and making repairs.
- Assist in the calibration and repair of measuring equipment and input data into pre-developed databases for record collection analysis and reporting.
- Compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Compliance with 5S programme and other business improvement initiatives.
- Any other appropriate duties.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar environment.
- The ability to follow and comprehend verbal, specific and detailed procedures and work instructions.
- The ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations in order to perform the duties of the position.
- The ability to use hand tools, power tools, checking or testing equipment and to be able to read and interpret drawings - preferred.
- Working at heights may be necessary.
- Reasonable level of computer literacy where required.
Hours of work:
37.5 hours per week. (Monday - Thursday)
Days
Mon: 07:00 - 17:15Tues - Thurs: 07:00 - 16:45
Nights
Mon: 20:15 - 06:30Tues - Thurs: 20:45 - 06:30
Positions are currently only running on Day shift.
However you must be prepared to work a rotational shift pattern - 2 weeks on day shift and 2 weeks on night shift.
Pay:
- Day Shift - £13.33/hr.
- Night Shift - £17.77/hr.
- Overtime - £19.99/hr (First ten hours).
- Overtime - £26.65/hr. (After ten hours overtime).
