Credit Control Assistant – Belfast
9-12-month FTC | Full-time | Office-based | £24,500 per annum
Reed Accountancy is delighted to be partnered with a fantastic client based in Belfast in the appointment of a Credit Control Assistant to join their team.
As a Credit Control Assistant, you will be an essential part of their Group Credit Control team, ensuring efficient operations within our accounting department. This role is perfect for someone with basic accounting knowledge, keen attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Extensive sales ledger knowledge & credit control background
- Collection of customer payments
- Dealing with customer queries
- Preparation of bank lodgements
- Processing and allocation of payments
- Month end reporting
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
- General administration duties, work as part of the admin team.
- Processing new account application forms, journals, credit limit reviews, monthly settlement discount.
- Perform any other administrative duties as assigned by your manager.
What you need to succeed:
- Self-motivated, quick learner with excitement and passion for this position
- An organised and proactive person, who can work on their own initiative.
- Strong time management skills
- Able to easily prioritise tasks, consistently meet deadlines and ensure time is used effectively.
- Enjoy problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills and able to communicate at all levels within the organisation both internally and externally.
