We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Manager to oversee quality assurance and quality control processes on-site in The Netherlands or Finland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, managing inspections, and maintaining quality standards across all project activities.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • QA/QC Management: Implement and oversee the quality management system to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Inspections Coordination: Schedule and manage inspections with contractors, vendors, and non-destructive testing specialists.
  • Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters with customer representatives.
  • Receipt Inspections: Verify incoming materials and components meet project specifications.
  • Documentation Control: Distribute QA/QC documentation to sub-contractors and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all site activities align with relevant codes, industry standards, and regulations.
  • Site Audits: Participate in and support both internal and external site audits to uphold quality assurance.
  • Inspection Oversight: Supervise site inspections through QC inspectors to maintain high standards of quality.
  • Handover Management: Ensure all QA/QC documentation is complete for the as-built handover process.
  • Non-Conformance Management: Track and resolve non-conformance reports (NCRs) and implement corrective actions.
  • Quality Control Instructions: Develop, enforce, and monitor site quality control procedures.
  • Training & Standards: Review customer specifications and provide training for QC inspectors on quality protocols.
  • QC Plan Execution: Monitor and ensure the effective implementation of the site QC Plan.
  • Technical Submittals: Prepare and submit QC technical documents to customers.
  • Construction Collaboration: Work closely with the Site Construction Manager to address and resolve quality-related issues.
  • QA/QC Meetings: Chair weekly QA/QC meetings with sub-contractors and QC personnel.
  • Test Programs: Develop and implement inspection and test programs to verify specification compliance.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all quality control processes comply with site safety regulations.
  • Documentation Updates: Maintain and update all quality control documents to reflect the latest project status.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Accredited certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a QA/QC role within construction, engineering, or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, compliance, and inspections.
  • The right to work in Europe.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite software (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.) is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
