MANE are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Manager for our client based in Belfast.



Role Title: Manufacturing Manager

Reports To: Production Director



Department Overview:

Responsible for delivering high-quality, on-time, and on-cost parts and systems for eFoiler builds. Works closely with Design, Manufacturing Engineering, and Procurement to ensure smooth production processes.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multi-functional team to deliver composite and metallic assemblies to quality, cost, and schedule targets.

  • Manage up to 100+ direct labour staff as the team grows.

  • Develop and implement industrialisation and manufacturing strategies.

  • Drive a strong Health & Safety culture and ensure safe working practices.

  • Oversee day-to-day planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional coordination.

  • Ensure production governance through visual management and daily meetings.

  • Deliver on KPIs for safety, cost, schedule, and quality.

  • Champion continuous improvement using Lean and 5S principles.

  • Support recruitment, development, and performance management of the team.



Candidate Profile:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline

  • Proven leadership in manufacturing or assembly environments

  • Experience in high-growth, low-volume/high-complexity production settings

  • Strong background in HSE, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Attributes:

  • Excellent team leadership and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills

  • Ability to read technical drawings and interpret manufacturing data

  • High level of integrity and professionalism

  • Proficient in MS Office and production software

Preferred:

  • Experience with composites manufacturing

  • Background in start up or new product introduction (NPI) environments

  • Knowledge of Lean, 5S, and ERP systems
