Research Assistant (Temp)

My client based in Belfast city centre is currently seeking a Research Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis.

This is a Full-Time, Temporary Position initially for 12 weeks (with an immediate start).

Working Hours: 30-35 hours per week (hybrid working with 2/3 days per week office based).

With an hourly rate of £12.50 per hour.

Job Role:

You will be responsible for managing participant engagement.

Essential Criteria:

  • A minimum of 12 months’ work experience in a research/analytical/sales role.
  • A-Level or higher in a business, economics or data related subject.
  • IT proficient with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload while adhering to deadlines.
  • Evidence of consistently meeting set targets and standards in daily work.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure professionalism at all times.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Understanding of economic globalisation and cross border investment.
  • Strong working knowledge of a second language, particularly French and/or Chinese.
  • Previous experience and/or an understanding of database management.
  • Knowledge of GDPR legislation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote participation in each ranking survey via telephone calls and email campaigns with existing entrants and potential prospects, meeting set daily targets.
  • Communicate progress with Head of Data, and Locations.
  • Research and update contact database for each ranking.
  • Ensure relevant/key contacts within each target location are included and the database is maintained in an accurate and consistent state.
  • Ensure full compliance with GDPR policies and practices.
