As a Senior Staff Nurse, you'll play a vital role in the Paediatric Neuro-rehab & Complex Care team:
- Support and mentor junior nurses, guiding them with your clinical expertise.
- Lead the unit in the absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse.
- Develop and evaluate holistic care plans for children in partnership with a multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in audits and quality improvement projects.
- Ensure high standards of clinical governance and patient care.
The ideal Senior Staff Nurse candidate will have
- NMC Child Registered Nurse qualification with immediate paediatric life support.
- Experience in Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and complex care.
- Proven ability to supervise and assess students and lead shifts.
- Experience with tracheostomised patients is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding issues.
- A background in teaching and mentoring.
- Excellent communication skills and clinical governance experience.
