Based in Belfast, they are currently seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative.

This is a Full-Time, permanent position.

The Role

Purpose & Scope: Servicing and Utilising Key Accounts with the responsibility to drive significant new business within the Mechanical / Electrical / Structural Steel Sector.

This is a highly desirable role, within a company that is at an exciting stage of expansion and growth. Strategically the Technical Sales Representative will report to and be supported by the Sales Manager for Northern Ireland to handle, develop and grow new business and nurture existing. Objectives will be to serve as the key relationship owner and take responsibility for retention and significant growth with end users. 

Key Responsibilities 

· Manage Multiple Top Tier Accounts, developing positive working relationships with all customer touch points.

· Generate complete system sales opportunities – (Quote, Follow Ups, Conversion, Develop)

· Deliver the targets and objectives set by showing initiative to create effective delivery plans

· Site investigation and reports will be required as part of the role.

· Provide input to your area’s sales strategy, aligned with wider business needs

· Work closely with Finance on Billing & Accounts.

· Provide and present presentations to target customers and potential clients

· Adhering to all aspects of quality control, operational excellence and compliance required to deliver a quality service, including maintaining accurate CRM records

· Strategic Business Development, building new business opportunities, clients, and representatives

· Presenting and communicating daily.

· Taking part in Continuous Improvement Meetings, Training, seminars, and meetings as necessary

 

What We’re Looking For

· High Commercial Understanding and Experience within the Mechanical l Electrical l Support Systems l Structural Fasteners & Fixing sector.

· Desirably be in the position to bring significant contacts & business from existing and previous relationships that will allow you to gather momentum from the beginning.

· Coachable, Flexible and highly motivated.

· Good technical knowledge of the building industry preferably with a qualification to match

· Proven track record in winning new business, with a massive hunger to succeed

· Project management or strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively

· Positive and confident communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships within the industry

· Self-Starter with the ability to achieve set targets and who can work well on their own initiative

· Full driving licence essential

· Undertake other relevant duties that maybe required from time to time

· Excellent judgement and negotiation skills

· Ability to manage a high volume of workload and have a flexible approach

· Exceptional presentation skills – written and verbal

· Ability to clearly/effectively communicate at all levels internally and externally within the organisation

· Inquisitive personality with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams
