A leading construction and facilities management company is looking for a Plumber to join their team in Belfast on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working on a repairs and maintenance contract within social housing. Responsibilities:
- Inspect and evaluate plumbing systems to identify faults and determine the necessary corrective work.
- Handle both scheduled and urgent plumbing repairs, such as leak fixes, tap replacements, and toilet repairs.
- Fit and service plumbing appliances, fixtures, and pipework in accordance with required standards and guidelines.
- Support wider maintenance tasks when needed, including small carpentry jobs, painting, and basic plaster patching.
- Respond efficiently to job requests and ensure all tasks are completed within the expected timeframes.
- Keep clear, accurate documentation of all repairs, maintenance work, and site activities.
- Carry out any additional duties requested by management that are reasonable and relevant to the role.
Requirements:
- Hold an NVQ Level 2, City & Guilds in Plumbing, or an equivalent qualification.
- Possess a valid CSCS or JIB card.
- Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated experience in plumbing repair and maintenance work.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems relevant to plumbing tasks.
- Hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
