As a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will be:
- Operate and drive various class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly.
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of shipment, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management.
- Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed.
Essential Skills
As a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver Driver you will need to:
- Hold a valid UK C1 Licence
- Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving a C1 vehicles.
- No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes.
- Have an in-date UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card.
- Must be able to speak and read a certain level of English.
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required.
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
