Capacity Planning Manager

We are seeking an experienced Capacity Planning Manager to join a growing contact centre and operations team. This is a pivotal role in analysing business forecasts, aligning resources, and ensuring operational efficiency while supporting strategic objectives.

To succeed as a Capacity Planning Manager, you'll need to be able to:

• Analyse business forecasts and operational trends to assess current and future capacity requirements.
• Develop and refine planning models that improve resource utilisation and efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, you will be aligning capacity strategies with business objectives and operational realities.
• Lead regular planning meetings and present KPIs, you are driving transparency and informed decision-making. 
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Lead and develop and guide a small capacity planning team

To succeed as a Capacity Planning Manager, you’ll need:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in business, operations, or a related field (or relevant practical experience)
• Substantial experience in capacity planning, ideally with leadership responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of planning tools such as SAP, Oracle, or similar, along with advanced Excel proficiency
• Proven analytical ability to interpret data and lead cross-functional initiatives
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present clear reports and forecasts to senior stakeholders
• Understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards related to capacity planning

Hours and Salary

• Monday to Friday – 39.5 hours – flexible start time
• 25 days holiday plus banks
