An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employee Relations Officer to join a dynamic HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to make a meaningful impact in employee relations.
In this role, you’ll provide expert first-line support to Line Managers on a wide range of employee relations matters. From guiding managers through investigations to analysing data trends and issuing formal correspondence, you’ll play a key role in ensuring fair and consistent people practices across the organisation.
Please note: Should this temporary assignment have the potential to become permanent, the colleague in post will be given first refusal, provided performance measures are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first-line employee relations advice to Line Managers
- Review investigation packs and coach managers through processes
- Proofread and issue formal letters (e.g., grievances, disciplinaries, performance management)
- Escalate concerns and training needs to senior HR leadership
- Track and manage cases using a Case Management Tool
- Analyse data trends and support training needs analysis
- Assist with complex investigations and occupational health reviews
- Experience in employee relations advisory roles
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyse data and identify trends
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
- CIPD Level 3 (desirable but not essential)
