Our client is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their operations team in Redditch, supporting their business in Ireland.
The role involves engaging with clients, tracking shipments, and processing customs declarations, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Candidates should have experience organizing Irish groupage trailers and possess knowledge of customs regulations.
The salary for this position ranges from £25,000 to £30,000, depending on experience, and includes a bonus scheme and benefits such as a company pension and cycle to work scheme.
The working schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with a one-hour lunch break.

The position involves engaging with clients and agents, tracking shipments, and processing customs declarations. The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication skills, be capable of functioning independently as well as collaboratively, have a back ground in organising Irish groupage trailers and possess knowledge of customs.

Key Tasks

Handling customers consignments
Liaising with the Warehouse and Transport teams
Customer Services
Costings
Planning groupage trailers to Northern and Southern Ireland
Customs declarations

Required Skills

Ability to use own initiative
Be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
Telephone and email communication skills
Must be proficient in the English language.

Salary dependent on experience.
