Job: Assistant Financial Controller
Location: Berkhamsted, HertfordshireSalary: 60k-80k FTC (dependant on experience)Length of contract: 6 months
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Assistant Financial Controller to join a dynamic team in Berkhamsted.
Responsibilities include:
- Ownership of unreconciled accounts, ensuring completion and accuracy
- Identify areas for process improvement
- Collaborate and business partner with other business units
- Assist the Financial Controller in ensuring a smooth audit process
- Lead the redesign of the month-end closing process
- Guide and mentor junior members of staff
- Work closely with executive team
The ideal candidate will have:
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualifications or equivalent
- Proven track record in a fast pace environment with the ability to work well under pressure
- Strong knowledge of Excel and financial systems
- Experience with audit process and month-end closing procedures
- Ability to work independently and within a team
The client is offering 60k-80k (depending on experience) and offers hybrid work.
