We are working with a longstanding and leading client of ours to support them recruiting a progressive Management Accountant on an initial 12-month contract based in the heart of Berkhamsted. The Role:This is a typical month-end Management Accountant position reporting to the Finance Manager and alongside a settled team. The role is responsible for a broad range of tasks from producing management accounts to supporting both the internal and external audit processes. Key Responsibilities:

Produce full pack management accounts within a multi entity and currency environment
Adhoc project work to support the accounts function
Production and verification of gross margin reports
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations monthly
Analyse travel expenses and calculation of PSA liability
Prepare accruals, prepayments, VAT and other statutory reports
Oversee budgeting and forecasting
Assist with any internal and external audits
Provide monthly financial reports to leadership team and business units

The Ideal Candidate:

Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA
Strong Excel (competent to an intermediate/advanced level)
Proven history within a similar Management Accountant position in order to hit the ground running
