About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Demi Chef de Partie Pastry to join our dynamic kitchen team in a prestigious hospitality venue located in the heart of Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled pastry chef to contribute to a high-end culinary experience in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present high-quality pastry items including desserts, cakes, tarts, breads, and plated sweets.
Assist in the development and creation of new pastry dishes for various menus, including afternoon tea, fine dining, and large-scale events.
Ensure consistency and quality of all pastry products in accordance with established standards.
Support the Pastry Chef and senior team in the daily operation of the pastry section.
Monitor stock levels, manage waste, and ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen section at all times.

Previous experience in a similar role within a high-end hotel, restaurant, or event catering environment.
A strong passion for pastry and baking with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
Culinary qualifications or relevant training in patisserie.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
