Are you an experienced Financial Planning Administrator with a passion for complex casework and high-quality client service? We’re working in partnership with a highly respected, forward-thinking Wealth Management firm that is looking to expand its support team with the addition of a Financial Planning Assistant.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Services professional to join a business that is a leading company in the Hertfordshire area. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting financial planners and paraplanners in delivering top-tier advice and service to clients.The Role:As a Financial Planning Assistant, you will be responsible for managing and processing all post-sale administration and you’ll be involved in complex cases including Defined Benefit transfers, IHT planning, and pension administration.

Post-sale administration and client onboarding

Gathering documentation for LOAs and illustrations

Organising and preparing for client meetings and compiling compliance paperwork

New Business administration

Maintaining client files via IO
-
Supporting paraplanners with administrative tasks and assisting in basic report writing

Acting as a key liaison with clients and providers, including complaint handling where required

Mentoring junior team members of the team
Role Requirements:
Essential:
-
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Financial Planning / Wealth Management firm

Working knowledge of platforms and a back office system

Experience processing new business and managing pipeline cases

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable:
-
Experience supporting DB Pension Transfer and IHT cases.
- Progression towards Level 4 Diploma (CII or equivalent
