Marketing Manager

Our client is a well-established regional law firm seeking an experienced and versatile Marketing Manager to lead our marketing and client service efforts. This standalone role is ideal for a proactive and commercially minded professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and is confident working independently while engaging with senior stakeholders.

Strategy & Budgeting

  • Develop and implement the firm’s marketing strategy aligned with overall business objectives
  • Manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring effective use of resources
  • Digital Marketing & Website Management
  • Maintain and update the firm’s website, ensuring it remains current, accessible, and compliant
  • Oversee SEO, monitor Google Analytics, and optimise online performance
  • Collaborate with external digital agencies to manage campaigns, Google Ads, and CMS enhancements

Content Creation

  • Create and distribute high-quality content including legal updates, newsletters, press releases, and service announcements
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and business goals

Social Media Management

  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X
  • Monitor performance and engagement metrics to inform strategy

Branding & Marketing Collateral

  • Oversee the production of branded materials such as brochures, banners, stationery, and templates
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all brand assets

Events & Sponsorships

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external events
  • Manage sponsorship opportunities and event logistics

Advertising

  • Develop and manage advertising campaigns across local and sector-specific publications

Client Services Support

  • Act as a first point of contact for marketing-related client enquiries
  • Assist with preparing quotes and directing enquiries appropriately
  • Internal Engagement & BD Alignment
  • Attend internal meetings to align marketing efforts with business development goals
  • Collaborate with Partners and fee earners to support individual and team marketing plans

Special Projects

  • Lead or support strategic initiatives such as office launches, public engagement campaigns, and firm-wide heritage projects

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a standalone or management-level marketing role, preferably within professional services
  • Strong background across digital marketing, strategy, branding, content, and events
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and project management skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially aware
  • Comfortable working independently and influencing at senior levels
  • Proficient in CMS platforms, SEO tools, Google Analytics, and social media management
