What's involved?

As our Relief Chef, you'll be responsible for providing delicious and healthy meals for groups of 50 to 80 children. This will involve preparing:

  • Cooked Breakfasts: Setting them up for an energetic day of activities.
  • Packed Lunches: Creating nutritious and appealing meals for their daytime adventures.
  • Evening Main Meals and Puddings: Providing satisfying and tasty dinners after a busy day.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Chef, ideally within a school, catering, or similar environment.
  • A strong understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations (Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent essential).
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and prepare meals efficiently.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for producing appealing and nutritious meals for children.
  • A positive and adaptable attitude, with the ability to work well within a team.
  • A genuine interest in the well-being of children.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Must have an Enhanced DBS or be on the Update service
