Panoramic Associates is currently working with a Local Authority client based in the North West region to facilitate the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities of the Role:
Lead and manage commercial aspects of transport and infrastructure projects.
Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Oversee procurement processes and contract management.
Monitor project costs and provide regular reports to senior management.
Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovative solutions.
Support the development and growth of the internal commercial team.
Liaise with external contractors and stakeholders as required.
To be successful in the role you will have:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager in the construction or infrastructure sector.
Experience in either public or private sector projects; public sector experience is advantageous.
Professional qualification (RICS, AAQS, or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement, and cost management practices.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work creatively and proactively, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Additional Details:
Salary: Around 100,000 per annum
Location: North West region (hybrid working likely)
