About the RoleEast Yorkshire County Council is looking for an experienced and driven Fostering Team Manager to provide leadership and oversight of a dedicated team supporting foster carers and children in care. Based at County Hall in Beverley, this role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact in children's lives while leading with clarity and compassion.
�? Key Responsibilities-
?? Lead and supervise a team of fostering social workers and support staff

?? Ensure high-quality assessments, supervisions, and support plans for foster carers

??? Promote safeguarding and permanence planning for children and young people

?? Oversee service performance, data management, and audit compliance

??? Provide leadership during panel preparation, strategy meetings, and reviews

?? Collaborate with multi-agency professionals and senior leadership teams

?? Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, fostering standards, and practice guidance

�? Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration
-
?? Proven experience in children's services management, ideally in fostering

?? Strong understanding of fostering regulations, safeguarding, and LAC procedures

????? Confident leader with excellent communication, supervision, and organisational skills

?? Enhanced DBS and Photographic ID must be provided on arrival
