Teaching Assistants

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for Teaching Assistants to start in September in Pocklington and surrounding areas. These roles are across various age groups and various contracts lengths so if you are seeking a role part time or full time we will be able to support you.

The pay for the roles vary between £90-£100 per day initially and half day rates are in line with this. These bookings will be across 5 days a week, Monday- Friday 8:30-3:30pm. Half day times are to be discussed on a role by role basis.

These roles will involve supporting in various classes specifically with children a 121 basis. The children may have a range of undiagnosed needs and display behaviour challenges. A knowledge of supporting SEND and in specifics behaviour is ideal. You may be expected to help deliver Phonics, so a knowledge of this is essential.

Located within the East Riding, the schools are easily accessible from most areas via car. Public transport, unless local are limited. There are car parks for staff that are free to use and there are always spaces. This schools have a fantastic reputation in the local area and we meet with all schools to gain a real idea of the schools you will be working in on behalf of Tradewind Recruitment

  • Have experience working within schools in the UK.
  • Has experience supporting within UK schools
  • Has experience supporting SEND Pupils and a knowledge of EYFS and KS1 curriculum
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the full CV History
  • Legal right to work in the UK
