English Teacher – Full Time

Location: East Riding

Start Date: ASAP

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a welcoming and inspiring college based in the East Riding. This is a full-time position, delivering GCSE English resit lessons to learners who are aiming to improve their grades and progress in their education.

This role will initially be offered on a fixed supply basis, however, for the right person, there is potential for the position to become a permanent contract directly with the college.

The successful candidate will:

• Teach GCSE English resit classes to students aged 16+

• Create engaging and motivating lessons that support learners to achieve their full potential

• Be part of a brilliant and supportive English team

• Work in an inspiring, inclusive learning environment where staff and students thrive

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or recent and relevant experience teaching English at GCSE level

• Strong knowledge of the GCSE English curriculum

• A passion for supporting learners with varying abilities to succeed

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
