Pipe/Vessel Fabricator Location: Kidderminster Salary: Dependent on Experience

Overview:

Are you a skilled fabricator with a background in pressure pipework or vessel construction? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and adaptable individual to join a growing production team within a well-established manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out fabrication duties in line with quality standards and engineering best practices
  • Safely operate tools such as oxyacetylene cutters, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment
  • Undertake simple T.I.G welding tasks (non-coded)
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings with precision
  • Recommend process improvements and assist in technical discussions
  • Contribute to peripheral tasks including assembly and packing where needed
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and safety standards in the workplace

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fabricating pressure pipework or vessels
  • Competent in the use of fabrication tools and welding for basic applications
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings
  • Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • GCSE Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English preferred but not essential

Working Hours:

40-hour week:

Monday–Thursday: 8.5-hour shift (with 30-minute lunch)

Friday: 6-hour shift (no lunch break)

Overtime available based on workload
