TPF Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly regarded and forward-thinking accountancy firm based in Bexhill. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experiencedTaxation Senior to join their friendly, professional team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-standing and respected practice that delivers high-quality, personalised services to a portfolio of self-employed professionals. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, working closely with both clients and colleagues.

The Role

You’ll take full ownership of your own client portfolio. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of self-employed professionals

  • Preparing Income & Expenditure accounts from varied sources (e.g. salary, rental income)

  • Completing personal tax returns and HMRC submissions

  • Carrying out pension tax calculations and advising on pension tax issues (full training provided)

  • Delivering ad hoc tax advice when required

  • Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and internal teams

RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice is essential

  • A qualification such as ACCA, ACA, ATT, or CTA is desirable (or qualified by experience/time-barred)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • A proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
