1:1 Teaching Assistant needed to support a boy with ASC and SEMH needs.

Location: Bexhill

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive and welcoming school in Bexhill, supporting a child on a 1:1 basis.

This role involves providing targeted support to help children overcome communication barriers, develop social skills, and improve their confidence.

About the Role:

Supporting children with varied additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and communication difficulties
Encouraging speech and language development through structured activities
Working in a friendly and collaborative team

About You:

Confident in supporting children with communication barriers
Experience or understanding of Special Educational Needs
Knowledge of non-verbal communication and speech and language difficulties
Reliable, proactive, and patient
Makaton training is desirable but not essential
