Job Description:As a Senior Support Worker for Children with Learning Disabilities, you will play a vital role in the well-being and development of our young people. Your duties will include:
- One-on-One Support:Providing individualised care and support to children with learning disabilities.
- Assistance with Daily Activities:Assisting children with daily tasks such as personal care, mealtimes, and recreational activities.
- Emotional Support:Offering empathy and a listening ear to help children build confidence and self-esteem.
- Collaboration:Working closely with other staff members, therapists, and families to create a holistic support system.
- Progress Tracking:Documenting and reporting on each child's progress and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with learning disabilities, ideally with children.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team with the young people.
- Level 3 Children & Young People or Health & Social Care.
