Our "Outstanding" Secondary School in Bexley (Thamesmead) is on the hunt for a Lead Practitioner of English for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time, and permanent position.

What will the role of Lead Practitioner of English entail?

• Raising attainment, and quality of learning across KS3-KS4 - KS5 Is an additional option

Our Head Teacher is keen to find an enthusiast who can take the Schools English curriculum & department to the next level. You'll be given full support from SLT while the freedom to make changes where needed.

PERSON SPECIFICATION - Lead Practitioner of English

• Must have high standards for yourself & colleagues
• Proven record of outstanding teaching
• Real passion towards English
• Willingness to lead from the front
• Must have UK QTS
• Graded "Outstanding" or "Good" in recent lesson observations
