Professional, experienced and pro-active Building Manager required to take the lead on all aspects of managing this residential estate in Bexley. The Building Manager will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards for all areas of the buildings, including supervising the front of house team, ensuring customer service is a priority at all times and meeting the expectations of the residents. Key duties will include ensuring the safety and security of residents, staff and visitors, reviewing all internal systems and software to ensure efficiency and facilitating improvements where required, taking responsibility for the supervision and deployment of all on-site staff ensuring they are clear about their roles, ensuring inspections such as cleanliness, lighting, fixtures, plumbing, plant rooms, roof tests, fire tests etc are carried out by the relevant contractors, ensuring a high level of customer service is provided by all concierge staff at all times, working with the HR team to ensure all absences are covered efficiently, reporting to the Board, and establishing a strong working relationship with the Property Manager. The Building Manager should be computer literate and be competent in Word, Excel and PowerPoint or a modern equivalent, have excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills, competent negotiation and problem solving skills, and have previous leadership experience.
