Responsible for planning and delivering well-structured Art lessons and ensuring strong pupil progress and engagement.

Leads, manages, and supports staff within the Art department, including line management, training, and appraisal responsibilities.

Oversees assessment, attainment, curriculum development, and the overall quality of teaching and learning in Art.

Ensures best practice, provides professional guidance, and contributes to whole-school expectations and smooth operations.

To be considered for the role of Head of Art you will:
- QTS or QTLS (or an equivalent UK teaching qualification)
- A degree or equivalent level of education
- Experience teaching Art at Key Stages 3 - 5 in UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and inspire students
- Compassionate, understanding, and committed to student development
- Available for an immediate start
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
