The Role:
The school is seeking a skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide high-quality support across the school, including PPA cover and working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role offers an exciting opportunity to take on responsibility within the classroom and make a meaningful impact on pupils' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver planned learning activities and cover lessons during PPA time
  • Support pupils with SEN individually and in small groups
  • Assist in planning and implementing differentiated learning
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupils' progress
  • Promote positive behaviour and support social and emotional development
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN preferred
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, flexible, and proactive approach
