Job Title: Senior Power Platform Developer (Service Pack Lead)Pay Rate: £766.21 per day

Tripod is seeking a highly experienced Senior Power Platform Developer to join a London-based local authority and lead the design, development and continual improvement of Power Platform "Service Packs" that bring together Finance, HR, Contracts, Risk, and Performance data into intuitive Power Apps and dashboards. This role plays a vital part in enabling smarter decision-making, driving transformation, and increasing efficiency across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert leadership in the end-to-end delivery of Microsoft Power Platform solutions including model-driven and canvas Power Apps, Dataverse schema, custom connectors and Azure integration.

  • Build and manage analytical dashboards to support financial, HR, and service performance visibility.

  • Lead Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives) and manage DevOps pipelines.

  • Implement role-based security, DLP policies, testing automation, and maintain environment governance.

  • Shape the Power Platform development roadmap and align it with the wider digital strategy.

  • Define and uphold development standards, naming conventions, documentation, and best practices.

  • Liaise with stakeholders to support transformation priorities, such as spend control, HR intelligence, risk/change management, and customer contact optimisation.

  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continual improvement and innovation.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience designing and supporting production-grade Power Apps and Dataverse solutions.

  • Hands-on experience integrating with systems like Integra (Finance), Axiom (budgeting), Northgate/Zellis (HR/payroll), or similar via REST/OData APIs.

  • Proficiency in Power Fx, JavaScript/TypeScript, .NET C#, T-SQL, DAX and JSON.

  • Knowledge of Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, and DevOps pipelines is desirable.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and documentation skills.

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) desirable.

  • Agile and/or ITIL v4 certification desirable.
