A highly regarded primary school in Bexley is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Year 5 Teacher to join their team in September 2025. Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality lessons for Year 5 students, ensuring full coverage of the National Curriculum and incorporating creative, engaging approaches to learning.

Assess pupil progress regularly, using a variety of methods, and provide timely feedback to support further development and guide individual learning pathways.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, resilience, and respect for one another.

Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive and high-standard approach to curriculum delivery, ensuring consistency across year groups.

Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

A thorough understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and the ability to deliver lessons that challenge and engage students.

Proven experience in assessing pupil progress and using data to inform planning and provide differentiated support to meet individual learning needs.

Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain a positive learning environment that encourages both academic and personal growth.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
