Our client is looking for a Bid Executive to join their Sales Team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality bids and proposals across a variety of projects, helping them to win new business across multiple sectors. This is a great role for anyone who is a meticulous communicator with a flair for persuasive writing and a passion for teamwork who thrives under deadlines and love juggling multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and coordinating bid submissions from start to finish
- Collaborating with the sales and operations teams to craft compelling, winning proposals
- Managing bid timelines, milestones, and stakeholder inputs
- Overseeing the full bid process - from PQQ to post-tender submissions
- Uploading and managing documentation through client portals
- Maintaining the bid library, including case studies and team CVs
- Supporting interviews, presentations, and business development events
- Handling general administration duties to support the sales and bid process
What You’ll Bring -
- At least 1 year of experience in bid/tender coordination (Construction or FM background preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail and persuasive copywriting skills
- Excellent English editing and proofreading capabilities
- The ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and adapt as needed
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- A flexible approach to working hours during peak submission periods
