Douglas Scott are working with an esteemed law firm, where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of your clients. As a Family Lawyer, you'll be part of a supportive and friendly team, working on a diverse caseload that includes divorce, financial proceedings, emergency injunctions, private children act applications, pre-nuptial agreements, and cohabitation work. With a competitive salary range of £45,000 to £55,000, and the potential for flexible working arrangements, this permanent role offers the chance to thrive in a successful practice and see your career flourish.Highlights of the Role:

  • Engage in client-facing matters and showcase your exceptional communication skills
  • Navigate emotionally taxing situations with empathy and professionalism
  • Play an active role in Business Development and represent the firm as an ambassador
Preferred Requirements:
  • Previous experience in well-regarded family law departments, with a strong understanding of key areas of private family law
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills, with an eye for detail
  • Experience supporting senior fee earners in more complex litigation
  • Ability to manage your own caseload (desirable but not essential)
  • Advocacy experience (an advantage but not essential)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Qualified as a Family Solicitor or Legal Executive with up to 3 years of post-qualification experience
  • Passionate about family law and committed to providing exceptional client service
  • Eager to work in a supportive and friendly team environment
