Reginald Gray is working alongside an established principal contractor who is seeking to appoint a Site Manager for a truly unique project. This is a 50M refurbishment of a private residence in the Cotswolds, offering an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile and complex scheme.

Role Overview
The Site Manager will report directly to the Project Manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the project, ensuring it is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This is an exceptional opportunity to manage all aspects of a prestigious residential refurbishment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and budget.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site staff to maintain smooth operations.
  • Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and site documentation.
  • Liaise closely with the Project Manager and client representatives to provide updates and resolve issues promptly.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally in high-end residential or complex refurbishment projects.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of day-to-day site management.
