Elect Resourcing are seeking a dedicated and experienced Painting working foreman with sssts or smsts oversee daily operations on a job in Bicester for a 12 month contract starting asap rate may be negotiable for the right applicant.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and relevant experience in construction painting and driving. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team, ensure project efficiency, and uphold safety standards across various sites.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate on-site activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely
  • Assign tasks to team members and monitor their performance
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout all operations
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management regarding project progress and issues
  • Organise schedules, materials, and resources necessary for daily tasks
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure work complies with specifications and regulations
  • Assist with driving responsibilities as required for transporting equipment or personnel between sites
  • Provide training and guidance to team members, fostering a positive work environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience in supervision within the construction or painting industry
  • Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
  • Knowledge of construction painting techniques and safety procedures
  • Fluency in English, with strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Good problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project demands
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift materials as needed
