Reception Year Teacher – Full-time, long-term position from January 2026 until July 2026 (with possible extension to December 2026)We are seeking an experienced Reception Year Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school community. Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed
Work closely with support staff and parents to promote holistic development
Encourage social, emotional, and academic growth through play-based learning
Maintain accurate records and contribute to school reports and meetings

Ideal Reception Year Teacher:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Early Years settings, preferably Reception
Strong understanding of EYFS curriculum and child development
Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Reception Year Teacher
Passionate about early education and creating positive learning experiences
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
