- Provide specialist occupational health advice through triaging management referrals and determining appropriate appointments.
- Conduct fitness-for-work assessments in line with Equality Act 2010 and relevant health/safety legislation.
- Support recruitment and specialised roles through health screenings and assessments.
- Administer vaccinations and take blood samples when required.
- Offer expert consultancy on health issues including infectious diseases and wellbeing.
- Contribute to policy development and delivery of OH and Wellbeing initiatives.
- Maintain continuous professional development for NMC revalidation.
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health Nursing.
- Experience within an Occupational Health setting with strong emotional resilience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence – ability to travel across the force area is essential.
- Familiarity with policing procedures and policies.
