Our client, a long-established specialist equipment provider based in Oxfordshire, is seeking an experienced technical sales representative to support growth and manage customer accounts across the UK.

Nationwide Travel | £35,000-£45,000 + Car Allowance + Commission

This is a full-time, permanent position that involves regular nationwide travel, with an initial focus on a defined territory. Office presence will be expected when not travelling, with hybrid working considered after probation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations and product demonstrations to new and existing clients
  • Provide technical support to internal sales colleagues and customers
  • Generate leads, negotiate pricing, and secure sales across multiple sectors
  • Assist customers with product queries, installation support, and technical issues
  • Contribute to individual sales targets and overall team goals
  • Train internal staff on technical product knowledge

About you:

  • Proven experience in technical sales and account management, ideally within an industrial or engineering-led environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Confident troubleshooting technical problems and supporting customers remotely and on-site
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and understand customer specifications
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM experience is helpful but not essential (training provided)
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally and occasionally overseas

Formal engineering or fabrication qualifications (e.g. NVQ) are desirable, but equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
