Are you an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with experience in residential or commercial conveyancing? Our Client is looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to support our busy property department and ensure smooth, efficient handling of client matters from instruction to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting fee earners with the management of conveyancing files from instruction to post-completion
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties
  • Conducting Land Registry searches and submitting SDLT returns
  • Preparing completion statements and supporting with file closure
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal assistant role
  • Strong understanding of the conveyancing process
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • High attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
